Grady Club

The Fish Tale Grady Club, Southwest Florida’s Grady Group, can be reached at their Yahoo Address. The club was started in January 2007 and has grown fast with an average of over fifty members!

A very active Grady Club, the Fish Tale group has a yearly calendar of events which takes them to many local destinations and occasional overnight destinations. Typically, throughout season (October – April) there will be at least one “on the water” event each month. During the Summer time, the club tries to make a June trip to the Keys or Bahamas which has proven to be a really memorable venture!

In the club’s first year, there were a number of local rendezvous locations. The club met in some cases for a raft-up and also for casual lunch meets. The Cayo Costa meet seen in the picture to the side is an example of a raft-up in February. It was a relaxing and social event for a nice Florida weekend.
Also, the club ventured up the Caloosahatchee River in March to Roland Martin’s Marina for an Overnight Weekend Trip. The run up the river took members through multiple locks and it was definitely a beautiful and memorable trip.

In addition to the outings, there is a monthly meeting at the Bass Pro Shop off I-75 at Alico Road. These meetings often have guest speakers and are on the first Thursday of each month at 6:30pm from October to May.

The club is seperate from Fish Tale Sales & Service, but Fish Tale does sponsor and help out where it is needed. The club is open to any Grady-White Boat Owners in the Southwest Florida area, and is NOT exclusive to Fish Tale customers. The club has a wide variety of boats, from 18′ to 36′ models. There is a small yearly membership fee.

Responsible for holding the 2nd and 3rd GradyFest events, Fish Tale Grady Club is proud to be a host for Grady-White enthusiasts around the country for such a gathering.

Fish Tale releases the WakeZone Newsletter that often includes the Grady Club’s happenings. Most issues have something, since the club is usually active!
