The Official Fish Tale Grady Club, Southwest Florida's Grady Group can be reached at their Yahoo Address. The club was started in January 2007 and is growing fast with over fifty paid members!
Fish Tale releases a Quarterly Newsletter that often includes the Grady Club's happenings. Most issues have something, since the club is usually active!
In the club's first year, there were a few local rendezvous locations. Usually for lunch, the club met and in some cases rafted up to one another's vessels for a picnic. The Cayo Costa meet seen in the picture to the side is an example, which was February 2007. It was a relaxing and social event for a nice Florida weekend.
Also, the club ventured up the Caloosahatchee River in March 2007 to Roland Martin's Marina for an Overnight Weekend Trip. The run up the river was a long haul, having to pass through multiple locks, but it was definately a beautiful and memorable trip for the fleet of club members.
In addition to the outings, there is a monthly meeting at the Bass Pro Shop off I-75 at Alico Road. These meetings often have guest speakers and are on the first thursday of each month at 6:30pm. Summer meeting schedules are subject to change, so visit the Yahoo page or contact the group first.
The club is completely seperate from Fish Tale Sales & Service, but Fish Tale does sponsor and help out where it is needed. The club is open to any Grady-White Boat Owners in the Southwest Florida area, and is NOT exclusive to Fish Tale customers. The club has a wide variety of boats, from 20' to the 36' models. There is a small yearly membership fee.
