Fish Tale Sales - Delivery Orientation

With the purchase of a new boat, all systems onboard are explained in our complimentary orientation. Fish Tale seeks to provide its customers with the ultimate buying experience and proper instruction to allow for a safe and fun boating experience is a vital factor. This important step is taken with customers of all experience levels, not just beginner boaters. There are always new technologies to go over and possibly forgotten tips or tricks.

When it comes to electronics, we are partnered with Tropica Marine Electronics, which also understands how important proper instruction is. Tropica provides an excellent program, allowing for full instruction on new installations and even instruction to a future owner of the boat. It is especially important to be given proper instruction on the increasingly in-depth marine electronics.

Our delivery experts are Steve Popovich and Captain Tony Swift. Both have been around boats the majority of their lives and have an extensive knowledge of boats that Fish Tale offers.

Captain Tony Swift

Captain Tony Swift has been with Fish Tale for several years and loves to be around boats! His first boat experience was onboard a 16' Speedliner (All Wood) with 35hp Outboard that his father owned. Since then, Tony has owned several Cabin-Style boats. Originally from Illinois, Tony moved to Southwest Florida in 1999 after owning and operating a trucking company. When it comes to deliveries, Tony looks forward to seeing every customer happy with their boat.



Steve Popovich

Steve Popovich is also one of our delivery experts. He is originally from Michigan and has lived in Florida for over 25 years, so he knows his way around the local waters. Steve started working at Fish Tale in the 1990's and enjoys helping customers through the new boat experience. Steve has been an avid boater since childhood and has fond memories of summers at the Detroit Yacht Club. His first boat was a 13' Boston Whaler Super Sport and his most memorable boat was a 22' Scarab he operated here in Florida.
