Ray Jahn
General ManagerAs General Manager, Ray Jahn is a key member of our team and is here to help in any way during your ownership. He grew up in Minnesota near the Great Northern 10,000 lakes. Spending weekends on the lake as a child developed his passion for the water and boating. After serving 4 years in the Navy, he moved to Southwest Florida shortly after his parents had relocated to Naples. He joined the Fish Tale team in 2006 and has used his extensive interpersonal skills and charismatic personality to help build the Fish Tale culture. Ray has also been a member of the MIACC for several years, serving as the VP in 2022. He enjoys fishing in the Everglades with his long-time friends and spending time with his wife, Sissy, and their families.
Tim Newcomb
Sales Associate / Yacht BrokerTim Newcomb has been a part of Fish Tale since 1989! He began his career with the company as a marine technician, where he developed a deep understanding of boats and their engines. Tim’s expertise and passion for boating led him to transition into sales, where he has excelled for over 30 years. He is passionate about helping his clients find the perfect boat for their needs and lifestyle. Tim is originally from Illinois, but he and his wife moved to Florida to take advantage of the state’s beautiful weather and abundance of outdoor activities. In his spare time, Tim enjoys hunting, fishing, boating, and ATVing.
Joe Davis
Sales Associate / Yacht BrokerOriginally from Alaska, Joe Davis brings a unique perspective to the team. He lives a life full of adventures, having worked in diverse industries, including designing networking for remote Alaskan villages, enhancing TSA equipment, and starting a company that specialized in electrical design. He started spending winters in SWFL in 2006, joining Fish Tale’s team in 2015. He discovered his love for boating and is now dedicated to helping others experience the same thrill of being on the water, especially first-time boaters, just like he once was. David Russo
Sales Associate / Yacht BrokerDavid Russo started his career with Fish Tale back when he was 16 and worked his way from the ship store to the fuel dock, to forklift operator. In 2018, David moved into sales where he found his ultimate passion. He quickly excelled thanks to his client-focused approach and a natural talent for providing personalized care and guidance for customers. In 2023 he was recognized as Top Robalo Salesmen worldwide, a notable achievement. When he’s not working, David enjoys taking the boat out with his wife & daughter, friends and dogs. Thanks to his extensive boating lifestyle combined with his product knowledge of boats, David knows how to help find the best boat for you and your family.
Ben Newcomb
Sales Associate / Yacht BrokerBorn and raised in Southwest Florida, Ben’s passion for boating and fishing started at a young age. He grew up around Fish Tale Boats with his father Tim Newcomb on the sales team. Ben made his start in the boating industry by obtaining his captain’s license and running fishing charters. He then came aboard Fish Tale Boats as a delivery captain and soon after into sales. He welcomed his first child in 2023 and is excited to share his passion for boating & fishing with his son. Ben is uniquely qualified to help his customers find the right boat for the local waters.
Josh Chaney
Sales Associate/Yacht BrokerJosh heads the sales department for the Naples location. Originally from Florence, Alabama, Josh has been a resident of Naples for the past 14+ years. A family man, Josh is a proud husband, and loving father of four incredible daughters. As a Board Member of the Marine Industries Association of Collier County (MIACC), he brings 7 years in the marine industry and 15+ years of successful leadership roles in Fortune 50 companies. Connor Hamilton
Sales AssociateConnor Hamilton’s passion for boating was sparked at age 12 when he moved to Southwest Florida from New Mexico and his grandfather purchased his first Grady-White from Fish Tale Boats. This ignited Connor’s love for fishing and being on the water, passions that continue to shape his life today.
Coming from a Grady-White family, Connor has developed a deep appreciation for the boating lifestyle and a strong understanding of how to match customers with the perfect vessel. During his college years, Connor worked as a salesman in the automotive industry, gaining valuable experience in customer service and sales. He also worked as an insurance broker for World Financial Group, becoming the youngest licensed sales associate in the state of Florida. These experiences have helped Connor refine his ability to connect with people and provide tailored solutions to meet their needs.
As a recent graduate from Florida Gulf Coast University with a degree in Management and a minor in Finance, Connor combines his education, professional background, and passion for the water to deliver exceptional service. When he’s not helping customers, Connor enjoys offshore fishing for grouper and spending quality time with his friends and family.
Eric Riley
Customer SatisfactionEric’s main goal for our Fish Tale customers is to make sure your boat ownership is smooth sailing! His role begins with delivery and continues through your inaugural year of ownership to help in answering questions, scheduling service, & making recommendations to ensure you’re getting the most out of your boating experience. After serving in the Army, Eric moved to SWFL from Oklahoma in 2016. He started at Fish Tale in 2018 as a service advisor, forming relationships with customers along the way. Eric plays a huge role here at Fish Tale and he is excited for you to get out on the water!
