What is a Grady-White center console best suited for?
A center console puts the helm in the middle of the boat and leaves an open walkway all the way around the deck, so several anglers can fish from the bow, sides and stern at the same time. In Southwest Florida that makes it a natural fit for offshore Gulf fishing, nearshore reefs and wrecks, and runs through Pine Island Sound or Charlotte Harbor.
Should I choose a center console or a dual console?
A center console gives you the most open deck to fish from all the way around the boat, while a dual console trades some of that space for more seating and wind protection behind a full windshield. If fishing comes first, a center console is usually the better fit.
